Dr. Assaf Moghadam, consultant and former MM~LAW senior analyst. Dr. Moghadam currently is an Associate Professor at the Combating Terrorism Center at the United States Military Academy, West Point. Moghadam served as senior analyst at MM~LAW from 2003-2006 and has extensive experience in research including fellowships at the following institutions: Jebsen Center for Counterterrorism Studies, The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University; Harvard University, Weatherhead Center for International Affairs; Center for Nonproliferation Studies, Monterey Institute of International Studies, Washington DC; Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Washington, DC; Human Rights Institute, Columbia University School of Law; and The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Washington DC. Education: Ph.D. in International Relations at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University (Dissertation Title: “The Globalization of Martyrdom: Al Qaeda, Salafi-Jihadism, and the Diffusion of Suicide Attacks”); Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs (BCSIA), International Security Program/Initiative on Religion in International Affairs John F. Kennedy School of Government; Post Doctoral Research Fellow in National Security at Harvard University, John M. Lt. Colonel Zmira Lavi. Colonel Lavi served in IDF Intelligence Corps. for 26 years. Her senior command positions include head of technological cooperation at the External Relations Department, Directorate of Military Intelligence; Head of the Palestinian research and analysis section at the Military Intelligence Research and Analysis Division; and a variety of professional intelligence positions in the central intelligence collection unit (Sigint unit). She currently serves as senior researcher and coordinator at The Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (a research institute focusing on terrorism and intelligence subordinate to the Ministry of Defense). Education: BA in Middle Eastern Studies, Arabic language and literature, Tel Aviv University; Senior Intelligence course, Israeli Military Intelligence. Languages: Hebrew, English, Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian.

Ora, consultant and former senior analyst. Prior to joining MM~LAW, Ora served for 5 years with Israel Ministry of Defense and 3 years in IDF Intelligence Corps. Ora currently works for the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, Counter Terrorism Bureau. Education: M.A. Middle-East Studies, Tel Aviv University; B.A. Political Sciences and Arabic Literature Studies, Tel Aviv University. Languages: Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, English.

Caroline, consultant and former senior analyst. Prior to joining MM~LAW, Caroline was a Research Assistant at Global Research in International Affairs Center (GLORIA), Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, Israel. She currently is employed as a Senior Forensic Intelligence Analyst in New York. Education: M.A. Security Studies summa cum laude, Tel Aviv University.
